He is survived by: his daughter Karla Carrigan (Hirsch); his wife Mary Hirsch (D'huyvetter); his daughter Christine Hirsch of Corvallis; his granddaughters, Marieke and Stefanie Carrigan; his brothers, Thomas Hirsch (Mary) of Kalamazoo and Robert Hirsch, Jr. (Ellen) of South Bend, Indiana; his nephews, Sean, Andrew and Tim Hirsch; and his sister-in-law Sandy Alexander.
