She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Elsie Shelton (Steinbrecher) and Philip Porter Shelton; her husband Robert Russell Rice; her son Jeffery Rice; her grandson Ryan; and her brother Carl Shelton.
She is survived by: her son Robert P.; her daughter-in-law Deborah Rice of Ceresco; her sister-in-law Kathleen Shelton of Traverse City; her grandchildren, Mason Rice of Ceresco, Kyle, Amy Rice of Battle Creek, Kelly and Jason Wheeler of Grand Rapids; and her great grandchildren, Emma Rice, Jonas Rice, Ryann Rice and Olivia Wheeler.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or Newton United Methodist Church.
