He was predeceased by: his parents, Americo Mezza and Maria Mezza (Bartolino); and his siblings, Giovanni "John" Mezza, Vincenzo "Jimmy" Mezza, Angeline "Angie" Martin (Butch) and Benito "Benny" Mezza.

He is survived by: his daughters, Paula Nault (Ray), Colette Mezza (Doug Howell) and Tricia Lewis (Steve); his brother Joseph Mezza; his stepchildren, Carla Yandle (Terry), Deborah Adams (Darrel) and Tom Austin; and his sister-in-law Josephine Mezza (John). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; as well as 17 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
