He is survived by: his wife Susan Bentley (Morris); his children, Kimberly McDougall (Duncan), Joseph Bentley (Becca), Pamela Briggs (Peter) and Steven Bentley (Daniel); his grandchildren, Peter Briggs, Paige Briggs-Romine (Connor), Ryan Bentley, Ella Bently, Joseph Richard Bentley Jr., Eva Bentley, Luna Wicks, Vivian Bentley, Landon Hollister and Avery Hollister; and his siblings, Janice Maize (John), Joseph Bentley (Carol) and Kristine Gardner. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
