He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Durward Walker and Marian Walker (Ingram); his wife Barbara L. Walker; his sons, Jeffrey (Carolyn) and Stephen (Christine); his grandchildren, Trina (David), Nicholas (Morgan), Emily (Reese), Logan (Marie) and Justin; his stepgrandchildren, Ariana and Karsten; and his brother Robert Walker (Mary Ann).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the either the American Heart Association or Bronson Heart Center or University of Michigan Cancer Center.
