He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie DeWitt and Esther DeWitt (Riggall); his children, Michael DeWitt and Sharon Lee Russell; his sister Betty Settles (Shirley DeWitt); and his former wife Vera Lee DeWitt.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Carol DeWitt (Julien); his sons, Gregory DeWitt (JoAnn) and Gary DeWitt; his grandchildren, Samuel DeWitt, Cameron DeWitt, Katie Amorello (Matt), Michelle Sugiyama (Joe) and Lydia DeWitt; and his great grandchildren, Jamie DeWitt and Pryor DeWitt.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Talons Out Honor Flight or the charity of one's choice.
