Robin Nott wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Leanne, Eric and family, The Michigan storytelling community is saddened by the passing of their friend and colleague Dick Strader. I have known Dick since the early 1990's both as a friend and fellow storyteller. Veronese and Dick both walked the walk of being peacemakers locally, and on a larger scale as well. Dick was a delightful storyteller, who mentored many on their tale telling journey by initiating many community engagement programs. Blessings to your family as you carry on.”
