With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Edward Benjamin Sr. of Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on October 16, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Ernest E. Benjamin; his children, Roberta Jean and Timothy Scott; his mother Lovina M. Benjamin (Videto); his brother John Edward Benjamin; his brother-in-law Ralph Benedict; his former wife Janice Emmons; his fiancée Patricia Ann Centilla; and his great grandchild Nevaeh Benjamin.
He is survived by: his sister Beverly Benedict; his sister-in-law Jeanette Padrenaggio (Joseph); his children, Todd Benjamin (Connie), Robert E. Benjamin, Jr., Lea Winans (Ron), Lara Isaacs (Lane) and Jodi Trimble (Rich); his grandchildren, Brandon Benjamin (Michelle), Joshua Benjamin, Tyler Benjamin, Samantha Buell (Ben), Skylar Trimble, RJ Winans, Josiah Winans and Zebulun Winans; his great grandchildren, Ariana Benjamin, Brian Jones, Jacob Jones, Faith Jones, Hunter Benjamin and Savannah Benjamin; his sibling's children, Denise Carter (Jim), Dennis Benedict (Eddie), Laurie Erickson (Steve), Gary Brown and Willy Whitmill; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jimmy Carter, Jeremy Carter (Carrie), Bradley Benedict (Cynthia), Bryan Benedict, Karin Smith (Christian) and Johanna Munson (Alex).
