He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne W. Emerson and Grace M. Emerson (Hoch); his son Scott Allen Emerson; his sister Shirley A. McKay (Emerson); and his brother-in-law Donald McKay.
He is survived by: his wife Gayle Elaine Snyder; his children, Steven R. Emerson of Battle Creek and Julie Ann Williams (Ronald M.) of Myakka City, Florida; his grandsons, Brandon Emerson (Amanda), Matthew Williams and Joshua Williams; and his great grandchildren, Ladessa, Ellanora, Zeke and Graham.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care (105 Capital Ave NE, Battle Creek, MI 49017). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
