He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick James Moore and Mattie Louise Moore (Fields); his stepfather Wesley Fields; his siblings, Kizzie, Jimmie, Mattie Ruth, Sampson, Frederick and Freeman Moore; and his son Troy Lavon Moore.
He is survived by: his former spouse Genola E. Johnson; his wife Suzan Mason; his brothers, Christopher Moore (Sam) and Anthony Fields; his children, Robin Moore (Tracey), Tiffany Moore Reed (Kelvin), Quincy Jones, Tammi Moore and Vanesha Nunnally (Mark); his grandchildren, Quinton and Karissa Jones; and his great grandchildren, Brayden, Dior and Diya Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and spiritual brothers and sisters.
