He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Almanzo and Adah Ailene Smith (Mastin); and his brother Roger Smith of Catawissa, MO. He is survived by: his children, Troy Aredin (Michelle) of Lowell, MI, Todd Austin (Jessica) of Athens, MI and Lachelle Denise Smith (Shelley); his wife Eleanor Mae (Jacoby); his daughter Shelley Smith of Battle Creek, MI; his brother Gary Smith (Joyce) of Haslett, MI; and his sister-in-law Virginia Smith of Catawissa, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
