He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence William Wedel Jr. (Bill) and Margaret Pauline Nay (Polly); and his brother William "Billy" Jon Wedel. He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica Mulder Richard (Tony) and Nickole Mulder; his wife Ema; his siblings, Wendy Rairigh (Glen), Denay Valentin and Jon "Jay" Wedel (Laura); and his grandchildren, Alicia Best, Christopher Ludwick, Cole Robert Mulder-Bowman, Cody Richard and Jordyn Richard. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren.
