He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Elder and Verna Marietta Reed; his wife Elizabeth Elder; and his sister Teresa Harmon. He is survived by: his brother Charles Elder of Dayton, TN.; and his children, Marry Reuter (Scott McQuern) of Dayton, TN, Ronald "Ron" Jr. Elder (Sonja) and Charles Elder (Nikki). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
