He is survived by: his children, Vanessa Brooks of Battle Creek and Stephan Cotton of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Travon Cotton, Brianna Cotton of Atlanta, GA and Destinnee Cotton of Kalamazoo, MI; and his close friend Diane Moore. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
