She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Frederick Goodhew and Helen Louise Goodhew (Meadows); her husband Richard T. Auton; her son Mark Auton; and her grandson Steven Auton, II.

She is survived by: her sons, Steven P Auton of Battle Creek and Harry Black (Karen) of South Carolina. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
