She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Banks Lee and Beatrice Lee (Jackson); her husband Leland S. Ellis; her children, Lynda Ellis and Ronnie Lee; and her siblings, Bill, Samuel, William, Minor Lee, Maggie Rhan, Jeanette Coleman, Lurlaner Fleming and Savanah Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Leland "Stan" Ellis II (Evelyn) of Augusta, MI, Donna Ellis of Tampa, FL, Leslie Ellis of Cleveland, OH and Susan Stanley of Battle Creek, MI; her sister Cassae Ryan of Alexandria, VA; her grandchildren, Tameka King, Jennifer Ellis, Talonda Stanley, Roniesha Lee, Sharnae Ellis, Chera Ellis, Leah Tubbs, Christopher Harrell, Charles King III and Torlando Ellis; her goddaughter Bonnie Robinson; her daughter Dionne "Dee Dee" Jett; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Ellis. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, "adopted" children, "bonus" grandchildren.
