He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Boven and Ida Van Boven (Buell); his wife Jo of President's Club; his daughters, Lynda Van Boven, Julie Van Boven and Diane Van Boven; and his siblings, Sally Jerue, Charles Van Boven and Gretchen Howe.
He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Van Boven (David Beck) of Boston and Andrew "Andy" Van Boven of South Lyon, Michigan; and his grandchildren, Emma, Zachary, Grace and Katherine Van Boven. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
