She was predeceased by: her father Donald Lemon; her son Kjell Stenberg; and her granddaughter Abigail Smilanich. She is survived by: her mother Margaret Lemon; her husband Michael J. Sims; her children, Adam Carl Smilanich (Sonya), Robert J. Smilanich (Karyn), Joshua Farrow, Matthew Sims (Dannon), Angie Stathopoulos, Jerry Stimac, Erika Richards and Leif Stenberg; and her pet Bruce.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service (375 W Dickman Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49037). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
