He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Simonds and Clara Simonds (Little); his wife Kim Simonds (White); his children, Emily Staple (Steve) and Zachary Simonds; his grandson Luke Staple; and his sisters, Mary Conklin (Ted) and Janice VanderVeen (Scott).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Steve's memory to either Talons Out Honor Flight or Veterans Helping Veterans.
