She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hay and Elaine Hay (Soules); and her husband Kent Byrd. She is survived by: her children, Sarah Byrd and Christian Byrd; and her siblings, Jewell Potter, Kaye Pyke (Bill), Vicky Soules, Dennis Hay (Mary) and John Hay. She is also survived by Her family includes several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
