He is survived by: his wife Debbie Garland; his children, Thomas Garland II, Joseph Garland and Daniel Garland; his stepchildren, Sarah Frasier and John Schanke; his grandchildren, Allie Garland and Tommie Garland; and his siblings, Gary Garland, Ellen Stevens, Janie Ruhl, Kathy Grimes, Cindy Van Asperen and Theresa Elwell.
