He was predeceased by: his parents, Rheo Smith and Ruth Smith (Wooden); his wife Barbara Smith; and his grandson Ryan Thomas Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Greg (Deborah) and Dan (Christa); and his grandsons, Jeremy, Gabe and Matthew.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bachman Hebble Funeral Service (223 Bedford Rd N, Battle Creek, MI 49037). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
