It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vern Bennett of Battle Creek, Michigan, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Vernie Bennett (Tom) and Violet Rose Bennett (Wolf); his siblings, Tom, William Bennett (Bill) and Patricia Everts (Bennett); and his son William Bennett.

He is survived by : his wife Debra Bennett; his sisters, Fran Collins (Bennett) and Karen Skinner (Bennett); his son Donald Bennett; and his stepdaughters, Heather Koehler and Kristi Green. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
