She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. Stafford and Cleona C. Stafford (Smith); her siblings, Belinda Sue Hawkins and Richard C. Stafford Gann; and her sister-in-law Suzanne Parker.

She is survived by: her husband James E. Taft II; her sons, James E. Taft III (Angela) and Charles N. Taft; her grandchildren, Isabel, Olivia and Abbigail Taft; and her siblings-in-law, Rolland Taft (Julie), Charles A. Taft, Sandra Sawyer (Russell) and Anne Clark. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
