He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Herbert Conine and Anna Irene Burrus (Ernsberger); his former wives, Ava Rawson and Ava Conine; his daughter-in-law Amee Jo; and his grandson Christian.

He is survived by: his wife Valarie Shafer (Shafer); his children, David Morri (Michael), Stacy Conine (Ginger), Randy Conine (Mandy), Ryan Aris (April) and Kristie Aris (Brian); and his sister Joanne Layne. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
