He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Artis and Veary Mae Artis; his wife Dorothy Jean Lee (Cork); his granddaughter Ebony Lee; and his sister Ida Mae Artis.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Lee of Battle Creek, MI, Michael Lee of Battle Creek, MI, Miles Lee of Battle Creek, MI, Derrick Clark of Battle Creek, MI, Deborah Lee, Monica Lee of Battle Creek, MI and Rhonesha Durham of Dallas, TX; and his nephew Todd Artis of Battle Creek. He is also survived by Grandchildren; Great-Grandchildren; Great Great-Grandchildren; and Cousins.
