It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Zella Mae Smith of Battle Creek, Michigan, born in Leroy, Michigan, who passed away on June 14, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nile Eyre and Nina Eyre (Katz); and her siblings, Clarence, Blaine, Wayne, Leo, Royce, Dale, Cora Carey and Marian Case.

She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Wolfgang (Doug); her grandson Matthew Green (Emily); and her great grandchildren, Rowan and Berkley Green. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Newton United Methodist Church.
