He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Witbrodt and Irene Witbrodt (Schnople); and his uncle Frank (Edna Wittbrodt). He is survived by: his wife Lynda M. Kroenert; his children, Bethany Schwerdtfeger (Michael), Barbara Matiska (Jeff), Scott Witbrodt, Jamie Gorang and Brian Parsell; his grandchildren, Franklin Walles (Megan), Brock Matiska, Nick Matiska, Jordan Martek (Lex), Jacob Hickey (Heather), Kamden Gorang (Sarah) and Keegan Gorang; and his siblings, Carol Hurd, Arlene Kucejko, Diane Quick (Bob), Gordon Witbrodt (Gail) and Dennis Witbrodt (Connie).
Family and friends will gather at Squires Funeral Home, 211 N. Henry Street, Bay City, MI 48706 on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and again at church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
