He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Kowalkowski and Lucille Kowalkowski (Zielinski); his wife Geraldine Pollum; his granddaughter Nicole Thomas; his sisters, Patricia Wenglikowski (Ed) and Dorothy Sniecinski (Frank); and his sister-in-law Patricia LaVictor (Edward).
He is survived by: his daughters, Ardith Reszke (Ken), Marsha Thomas (George) and Gretchen Smith (Mark); and his grandchildren, Stephanie Reszke, Josh Reszke (Debbie), Zachary Reszke, Jeremy Thomas, Derek Thomas, Amanda Thomas, Melissa Karcher (Mike) and Chad Thomas (Amy). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
