He is survived by: his wife Jennine Gerard; his children, Rick Scheel (Toni), Vicki McTaggart (Scott), Micki Anthony (T. J.), Mark D. Gerard (Jodie) and Marci Gholston (John); and his brothers, Richard G. Gerard and Claude J. Gerard. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
