He was predeceased by: his parents, James Miles and Gloria Dean McDaniel (Rector). He is survived by: his children, Carl Jr. and Jennifer; his grandchildren, Jayson, Ethan, Hunter, Terry, Charlotte and Nora; his siblings, Gloria, James and Duane; and his half-sisters, Cindy and Faye.
