Caroline A. Ayers Obituary

Caroline A. Ayres, 86 passed away peacefully October 9, 2026 at Bay City Comfort Care. Carol was born September 14, 1940 in Kawkawlin Twp. To Ed and Victoria Rotarius. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Carol married Elmer Ayers on October 13, 1973 and together they raised six children. They loved spending time at their cabin up north, gathering with family and friends and going to rummage sales. Carol loved growing and showing off her plants and flowers. She also enjoyed going to bingo, watching the Detroit Tigers, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her dog.

Carol is survived by her children Scott (Karen) Abbs, Chris (Kori) Abbs, Rick (Melissa) Ayres, Ellen (Jim) Burke and Luanne (Joe) Seward. She also had 16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her first husband Lyn Abbs and her son Brian Abbs.
