Dale N. Lanway Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Dale N. Lanway (Bay City, Michigan). Dale, born on April 30, 1941 in Kingston, Michigan, passed away on September 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lanway and Virginia Lanway (Newton); and his sister-in-law Betty Pudvay. He is survived by: his children, Jill Lawrence (Tom) of Caro and Ted Lanway (Laura) of Birmingham; his grandchildren, Taylor Moen, Carson Moen, Cole Moen, Mia Lanway and Ryder Lanway; his brothers, Tom Lanway (Joyce) and Erin Lanway; his brothers-in-law, Pat Pudvay and Larry Pudvay; and his close friend Karin Deamud. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trahan Funeral Chapel (256 N Madison Ave, Bay City, MI 48708). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests donations in Dale's memory to the Dale Lanway Memorial Educational Scholarship or to the Nate & Mary Ida Doan Santa House which may be sent directly to Trahan Funeral Chapel.
