He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. "Chip" McCarthy and Mary McCarthy (Brophy); his wife Sharon A. Dumeah; his children, Kevin McCarthy (Amy), Bridget Bissell (Blair), Brian McCarthy (Ann), Kathryn Theiler (John) and William McCarthy (Torre); his siblings, Ann M. Arnold (Gene) and William A. McCarthy; and his close friend Sharon Kiehl. He is also survived by grandchildren and ten beloved great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to Our Lady of Peace Parish.
