He is survived by: his wife Maria Refugio Garcia; his sons, Miguel Garcia, Daniel Ortiz Jr. and Juan Ortiz (Felicia); his siblings, Manuel Ortiz and Mary Lou Garcia (David); and his stepchildren, Jennifer Garcia (Alfredo), Antonio Garcia (Estefana), Guadalupe Bignall (Thomas), Jorge Jimenez, Mario Jimenez Garcia and Loraine Garcia (Joseph). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, 13 step grandchildren and 6 step great-grandchildren.
