He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Evans; his parents-in-law, Henry and Kathy Proderut; his niece Haley Rytlewski; and his grandparents, Carlton and Gertrude Evans.
He is survived by: his mother Lois Walsh (Brown); his wife Kathy; his son Henry Proderut (Monica); his grandsons, Henry John and Knox David; his siblings, Virginia "Ginny" Stachowiak (Gerald), Tyson Evans (Tanya), Brenda Stender (Bob) and Tina Rytlewski (Keith); his close friend Archie (Barb Swanson); his caregivers, Kari, Morgan, Brandi, Brittany, Bob, Brenda, Tina and Henry; Erin, Craig Gerow, Khloe, Alivya and Owen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Squires Funeral Home (211 N Henry St, Bay City, MI 48706). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
