He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Havercamp and Robert Havercamp; and his wife Beverly Norgan. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Nicholas Mehl (Suzanne), Chad Mehl and Jessica Lowe (Damon); and his siblings, Rick Havercamp (Patti), Jim Havercamp (Barb), Mark Havercamp (Anne Marie), Rob Havercamp (Cheryl), John Havercamp, Kathy Willis (Larry), Sue Garson (Kent) and Brian Havercamp (Katie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
