He was predeceased by: his parents, Vasa Holsinger and Georgianna Holsinger; his sister Georgianna; his parents-in-law, Charles and Marge Petersen; and his brother-in-law Lowell Petersen.

He is survived by: his wife Marjorie A. Petersen; his children, Kevin Holsinger (Rose), Mimi Holsinger and Dee Holsinger; his son-in-law Scott Carvey; his grandchildren, Kelsey, Kenna, Rylie, Luke and Rachel; his great grandchild Henry; his brother Edwin Holsinger (Louise); his sisters-in-law, Judy Petersen and Carol Reinke (Dale); his cousins, Harley Holsinger and Ed Thompson; his pets, Fritz and Ella Bella; Wayne Vos. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
