He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd Kielpinski and Christine Kielpinski (Majchrzak); his siblings, Norman Kielpinski and Cynthia Przygocki; and his brothers-in-law, Michael Quamme, Thomas Fleming, William Fleming and Donald Fleming.

He is survived by : his wife Marie Kielpinski; his daughter Kendra Shields (Steven); his granddaughters, Sarah Martinez (Nicolas), Rachel Shields and Rebecca Schwartzkopf (Corey); his great grandchild Isabel Martinez; his siblings, Arlene Quamme, Marcia Wiedyk (Daniel) and Leonard Kielpinski; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Przygocki, Dixie Fleming, Sylvia Fleming, Elsie Fleming, Sherry Breaux (Henry) and Betty Fick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
