With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin Ekkens (Bay City, Michigan), who passed away on June 28, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Ekkens and Gertrude Ekkens (Laskas); his close friend Meagan Pease Elwood; and his siblings, Conrad Ekkens and Janet Dannesburger (Paul).

He is survived by: his wife Pamela; his children, Kellen Ekkens (Jackie), Paul Ekkens, Angela Bland (Roger) and Jason Claeys (Kayla); his grandchildren, Janelle Gottleber (Gary), Jeremy Ekkens, Austin White, Nathan Ekkens, Shaylynne Ekkens (Matt Spicer), Spencer Ekkens, Jessie Ibanez, Arianna Bland, Olivia Bland, Aubrella Bland and Serayah Claeys; his great grandchildren, Gary Jr., Brayden, Natalie, Harmony, Serenity, Zayden and Landon; his sister Susan Turner (Larry); and his close friends, Jolie White, Audrey Myrice, Tina Carrigan, David and Lori Elwood. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
