It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eldine M. Parent (Bay City, Michigan), born in Unionville, Michigan, who passed away on August 22, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle F. Currey and Alma A. Currey (Sattelberg); her husband Gerald J. "Jerry"; her child Eldine (Joseph Parent); her granddaughter Lydia Willette; and her siblings, Dorothy Ortner (Arnold) and Donald Currey.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Coughlin (Joseph), Paul Parent, Nona Strother, Margaret Jackson and John Parent; her grandchildren, Patricia, Gerald, Lawrence, Patrick, Martha (Steven), Andrea, Alex (Jessica), Zachary, Jimmy (Mary), Alan, Joseph, Sidney, Elizabeth, Andrew, Tammy, Jeremiah, Joshua, Rebecca, Collin, Sophia and Isabella; her sister-in-law Mary Ann Currey; and her children, Alan Parent, Anna Ouelette (Patrick) and Frances Traver. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and close friends.
