She was predeceased by : her parents, Casimer Petrowski and Rose Petrowski (Herek); her siblings, Dorothy, Leonard "Pete" Petrowski (Judy) and Ann Sohacki; her parents-in-law, Edmund and Anna Sohacki, Sr. (Slaby); and her brothers-in-law, Patrick Ivan, Richard Campbell and James Upton.
She is survived by : her husband David A. Sohacki; her daughters, Julie Kuchek (Larry) and Mary Johnson (Steve); her grandchildren, Shannon Kuchek (Christian Barcia), Anna Kuchek, Keith Przybyla-Kuchek (Julia) and Jessica Kuchek; her brother Floyd Petrowski (Betty); her in-laws, Edmund Sohacki (Shirley), Marie Campbell, Leonard Sohacki (Betty), Margaret Ivan-Upton, Alfred Sohacki (Sally), Thomas Sohacki (Janet) and Joanne Gast (James); her close friend Joyce Nichols (John); and her niece Debra Hammond (Florence).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Czestochowa - St. Stanislaus Catholic Church (1503 Kosciuszko Ave, Bay City, MI 48708). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Florence's name.
