She was predeceased by : her husband James Dougherty; her daughter Debbie Schroeder; her grandson Chad Schroeder; her siblings, Boyd Rowden and Star Ann Rowden; and her parents, Helen Rowden and Frank Carrier.

She is survived by : her daughter Donna Tarkowski Volk (Glenn Volk); her grandchildren, Kathleen Schroeder, Ben Volk (Ann Marie) and Kristi Ramseyer (Jim); her great grandchildren, Allison Schroeder and Leo Volk; and her friend Ned Doyan.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Penzien-Steele Funeral Home Inc. (608 N Madison Ave, Bay City, MI 48708). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
