He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Rivard and Roseanna Seyuin Rivard; his wife Eileen; and his siblings, Ernie, Laura, Art, Marie, Joe, Bernard and Dick.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Mickey (Dave), Jerry Rivard (Cheryl), Eileen Rivard, Beverly Theisen, Shirley Ellis (Bill), Ron Rivard (Amy), David Rivard (Deb), Paul Rivard (Cindy), Randy Rivard (Tina) and Barb Gordon (John). He is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren.
