She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Kennedy and Lucile Kennedy (Warden); her husband John Young; and her siblings, Richard Kennedy and Marcia Dittmer.
She is survived by: her children, Kay McPhee (Jim), Barb Gilson, John Young (Alice), Deb Fogelsonger (Kurt) and Anje Young; her grandchildren, Geneve (Corey), Devon, Brianne, Andrew, Tracer (Tricia), Dusty (Sean), Paige (Celso), Cody (Matt), Lane (Rebecca), Amber (Steve), Kelyn (Dave), Karly (Dustin), Forrest (Meng) and Bridger; and her great grandchildren, Ani, Aidan, Sean, Shea, Lilly, Hendrix, Seger, Rock, Celso Jr., Ami, Aubreigh, Caileigh, Legend, Stella, Scarlett, Lydia, Corban, Ivan and Kirby. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
