He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hoerauf and Johanna Hoerauf (Reichard); his wife Janet Hoerauf (Knoerr); his son Terry G. Hoerauf; his siblings, Charles Hoerauf and Carol Wozniak; and his siblings-in-law, Erwin Hoerauf (Elvira), Howard Knoerr (Marie), Larry Knoerr, Eugene Rugenstein (Bonnie), William List and Darlene Rugenstein.
He is survived by: his daughter Lori Urbaniak (Jerome); his siblings, Thomas Hoerauf (Nancy) and Bonnie List; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Wozniak, Harvey Rugenstein and Marjorie Knoerr.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Frankenlust (6094 Westside Saginaw Rd, Bay City, MI 48706). A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at the St. Paul Cemetery.
