He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Berry Sr. and Earnestine Berry; his siblings, Lonnie Berry Jr., Eva Mae Berry and Pearl Lee Berry Evans; and his grandsons, Sedale Smith and Simeon Berry.

He is survived by: his children, Yvette Harding (Gregory), Carron J. Smith, Towryan Berry (Melinda), Sherunda Berry and James T. Berry; his siblings, Atzelene King, Belinda Kelly, Anita Carey, Lee Henry Berry and Connell Berry (Michelle); and his close friends, Parnell Williams, Russell D. Davis and George Wilson. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Paradise Funeral Chapel (3100 S Washington Ave, Saginaw, MI 48601). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at the Floral Gardens Cemetery (2215 Cass Avenue Rd, Bay City, MI 48708).
