He was predeceased by: his parents, Monica Marek (Maciejewski) and John Marek Sr.; his brother John Marek Jr.; his great grandchild Mason Everson; and his parents-in-law, Evelyn, Martin Seifferly and Lucy.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Wudarkiewicz (Woods); his children, Dianne Mielens (Randy), Dan Marek (Lynn), Debbie Everson (Mark) and Donna Sullivan (Joe); his grandchildren, Jenny Daley (Roy), Kelly Francis (Craig), James Marek (Shameka), Kristen Anderson (Colin), Jeremy Everson (Ashley), Nicole Everson (Logan), Autumn Marshall (Josh), Kayla Allen (Michael), Grant Kleinert (Chelsea) and Kara Sullivan (Kyle); his great grandchildren, Corbin, Caden Daley, Blake, Brody, Bentley Francis, Elijah, Elliett Marek, Lane, Kade Everson, Brandon, Carsyn Marshall, Grace and Isla Allen; and his brother-in-law Tim Seifferly Sr. (Karol).
