He was predeceased by: his wife Rosella (Montambeau); and his brother Tim Herek (Barb). He is survived by: his children, Patricia, Judy Herek of Bay City, James Herek of Bay City and Michael Herek of Saginaw; his brothers, Raymond Herek (Druane), Patrick Herek (Maryann), Joseph Herek (Mary Beth) and Thomas Herek (Christine); and his friend Tom Miller. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the All Saints Parish - St. James (710 Columbus Ave, Bay City, MI 48708). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
