He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Obermiller and Helen Obermiller (Lesser); his wife Shirley Obermiller; and his siblings, Arlin Obermiller (Arlene), Gerald Obermiller, Robert Obermiller, Betty Hennard (Peter), Shirley Bernreuter (Ralph), Joyce Mossner (Waldo) and Joanne Jeske (Leonard).
He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas Obermiller (Diane) and Marlene Chris (Paul); and his sisters-in-law, Ruth Obermiller and Marilyn Obermiller. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (706 W Jane St, Bay City, MI 48706). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at the Floral Gardens Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Jim's name to Camp Fishtails.
